Who I am
I like helping people get where they are trying to go.
I've always been full of ideas, but for a long time I had no way to make them real. That changed when I discovered the computer. Suddenly imagination was something I could shape and share, and design became the place where things started to click. Shaping digital products became my job, and the people who use what I make became the reason I do it.
Then technology caught up, and it let me build what I design as well. Now I can take an idea all the way.
Why I do what I do
A product has to work. That sounds obvious, but it is most of the job: solving a real problem and being worth people's time.
What keeps it interesting is how much has to be right at once. User goals, business needs, simplicity, what lasts. Finding that balance is what I enjoy.
Even then, a product can feel flat. The detail changes that: spacing, type, the timing of a transition, the wording of a label. That is what makes a product feel alive, and to me that is the whole point.
