Hey there! I'm Bart and I love bringing great ideas to life through design.

I've always been full of ideas, but for a long time I couldn't bring them to life. That changed when I discovered the computer. Suddenly, imagination became something I could shape, build, and share. Design quickly became the place where creativity met structure and where things started to click.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me with music in my ears, a controller in hand, or adding a new trading card to my collection. I love getting lost in a good series or spending the weekend at a music festival, anywhere ideas and energy collide.

Why I do what I do

I design because I believe good products can make life a little simpler, a little fairer, and a lot more human. I'm fascinated by the way design helps people understand, connect, and move through the world, often without even noticing.

For me, design isn't about decoration. It's about clarity, purpose, and empathy. It's about turning ideas into experiences that feel intuitive and meaningful. I love finding that balance between how something works and how it makes people feel.

How I Work

I have a strong enthusiasm for empowering companies and their users to achieve their goals through design. My focus lies in interaction and visual design, while also taking into account key business factors such as objectives, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

With a passion for user-centered design, I thrive on being involved in the entire design process, from research to testing. I founded Strakzat to bring this vision to life. Over the past decade, I've worked with more than 100 clients, ranging from startups to large companies and agencies.

Through this journey, I've built expertise in diverse interface guidelines and design patterns, allowing me to create tailored solutions for a wide range of platforms. Transparency and communication are central to how I work, leading to well-founded design decisions through close collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
